Mr. Edward Aribisala – Vice President for Oncology Services and Administrator of CKCI
CKCI is proud to introduce Mr. Edward B. Aribisala who is our new Vice President for Oncology Services and Administrator of the Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute. Mr. Aribisala comes to us from Bennington, Vermont, where he has served as Administrator, Cancer Services at the Southwestern Vermont Regional Cancer Center since 2002. In that capacity, he manages Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, and Research & Development. Mr. Aribisala was Administrator and General Manager of the Intercommunity Cancer Center,Leesburg, Florida, before the Vermont assignment. He managed a stand-alone oncology program from planning to full operation, and left in place a strategic plan for ongoing staffing and operations. From 1994 to 2001, Aribisala was Administrative Director of Radiation Oncology at the Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. In addition to optimizing the billing system to increase reimbursement, he is credited with implementing a system-wide plan which saved $6 million in costs over two years, thus avoiding staff lay-offs. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Radiotherapy Technology from Howard University, a Master of Science in Safety Engineering from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. Edward B. Aribisala remains active in a number of professional and community service organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives. CKCI is thrilled to have Mr. Aribisala as our director and look forward to long and prosperous times together.
