Damelia Correa
Damelia is a graduate of the Charlotte Amalie High School class of 1997. She began her college education at the University of the Virgin Islands, where she studied elementary education and later attended the Johnson and Wales University Miami campus where she received her Associate of Science in Business Administration and her Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management. As the Executive Assistant to the Administrator of the Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute, some of her duties are to provide assistance and support to the administrator in problem solving, project planning and management, and development and execution of stated goals and objectives, She performs research and analysis on specific issues, as required, and independently prepares non-routine letters and/or reports, which may be highly sensitive and confidential in nature, she will serves as a primary point of direct administrative contact and liaison with other offices, individuals, and external institutions and agencies on a range of specified issues; organize and facilitates meetings, conferences, and other special events, as required. Having this role in the Cancer Institute, not only makes her feel proud but happy to serve her people of the Caribbean.
