Debra Quetel
Ms. Quetel, our receptionist/secretary, was born in Queens, New York City. In her early years during schooling, Debra volunteered at several different hospitals including Jackson Memorial Hospital, Baptist Hospital, and Veteran Administration Hospital. Her duties included taking patientsÕ vitals, assigning them to a room and secretarial duties. After graduating from the Academy, Ms Quetel was employed at Wackenhut, a security firm, where she worked as a Purchasing Clerk and a PBX Operator for five years. At this time she decided to relocate to St. Thomas, USVI. In St. Thomas she worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Family Resource Center, a counseling group, for seven years. While working at this agency, Ms. QuetelÕs experience in the handling of patients, and phone/reception management was enhanced immensely. Ms. Quetel joined the Schneider Regional Medical Center in 2004, as a Receptionist/Operator for the Myrah Keating Smith Community Health Clinic and worked there for two years before transferring to the Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute where she is now the Receptionist/Secretary.
