Mrs. Yolanda Liburd, Oncology Nurse
Mrs. Liburd was born in Newtown Basseterre, St. Kitts on February 13, 1958. She attended the Newtown Primary School and in 1970 began her secondary education at Basseterre Junior and Senior High School. Immediately after completing High School she began her nursing career at Joseph N. France Hospital in Basseterre.

In 1980 Mrs. Liburd migrated to the island of St. Thomas USVI to further here education at the University of the Virgin Islands. After graduation she started working at Schneider Regional Medical Center where she is currently a Certified Oncology nurse. In March of 2006 she joined the staff of Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute as the only Certified Oncology nurse at the Cancer Center.
