Partners Through the Caribbean Cancer Collaborative

Because the Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute will be the only one of its kind in the eastern Caribbean, the Roy L. Schneider Hospital Board, administration, and medical staff thought it critical not only to meet the expectations of the populations of the USVI but also of the entire eastern Caribbean. As a result, the Caribbean Cancer Collaborative was established to affiliate with organizations such as hospitals, clinics, governmental agencies, community or public service groups, and similar organizations to provide access to Cancer Institute programs and services, including education, prevention, screening, detection, treatment, supportive care and research. Affiliations with Caribbean providers as well as mainland cancer centers are a primary objective of the Caribbean Cancer Collaborative and the Cancer Institute.

To date, the following Partners are assembled as members of the Caribbean Cancer Collaborative, with an established mission of "DISCOVERY. DEVELOPMENT. GROWTH." for cancer programs and services throughout the Caribbean. Each of these Partners plays a vital role as part of the CKCI team. We truly appreciate their continued support and the raising of much needed funds for the development, implementation and continued growth of the CKCI.
